Mental Wellness, Made Practical

What is EFT?

Emotional Freedom Techniques. A technique to reduce anxiety, stress, PTSD and depression. EFT, also known as tapping or psychological acupressure, involves lightly tapping on specific points on the body, primarily on the hand, face and chest in a particular sequence. The client taps on themselves and focuses on the issue that they wish to treat. When paired with skilled counselling and coaching, Tapping on these specific points reduces emotional distress and physical body sensations.

By eliminating the stress, EFT can increase well-being, self-esteem, emotional intelligence, happiness and motivation.

As the tapping is self-administered, it's a great self-management tool and can be equally effective via Zoom or face-to-face.

Why Tap?

It’s powerful & it works! Tapping on the acupressure points sends a calming signal to the brain’s stress centre, healing stressful events and unwanted emotions. Your brain and body stops feeling triggered and overwhelmed and these results can be permanent. EFT has been scientifically proven to significantly decrease anxiety, depression and PTSD. These results have also shown to be long-lasting. This leads to improved mental wellbeing and physical health.

Releasing Negative Beliefs
EFT is the premier tool to change beliefs and expectations.
When you focus on negative feelings, it is far more difficult to reach your goals.
EFT works on all unwanted emotions.
For example:

  • Stress

  • Trauma/vicarious trauma

  • Helplessness

  • Resentment

  • Anger

  • Fear

  • Frustration

  • Shame

  • Inadequacy

When you release the negative beliefs, you attract more of what you want into your life.
