Shadow Work
What is Shadow Work?
Shadow work is the process of exploring the hidden or suppressed parts of ourselves—feelings, beliefs, and behaviours we’ve learned to avoid or deny. These parts often form in childhood or through social conditioning and can include traits like anger, fear, shame, or even confidence. Rather than being “bad,” our shadow holds valuable insights. When ignored, it can show up as anxiety, burnout, people-pleasing, self-doubt, or repeated patterns that keep us stuck. Shadow work helps us face these parts with curiosity and compassion. By bringing the unconscious into awareness, we gain more emotional freedom and choice.
